WJSA have recently signed as an official grassroots partner of Sheffield United. The link with the Premier league side provides huge benefits to the WJSA and will allow us to access some fantastic opportunities in the future.

To kick off the partnership we have arranged a night of fixtures against Sheffield United’s Devlopment squads to be held at our home in April. The night will see 6 WJSA teams take on Premier League opposition over 5 age groups, more details to follow.

The Link between Professional clubs and their grassroots counterparts puts a real emphasis on the importance of the game at grassroots level. The support they open up for coaches and clubs is huge and it gives opportunities for players who may not usually get the chance to showcase their talents to a wider audience.
