So tonight Wingerworth JSA proudly honoured two very special people who mean everything to the club, the village and the wider area. Geoff Lord
and Liz Lord
founded the club 35 years ago. In the years since the club has become the heart of the village and their efforts have meant that 1000’s of local children have been able to enjoy playing the sport they love. The passion that Liz And Geoff have today is as strong as it has ever been.
The happiness of playing for the club enjoyed by players past and present is built on the foundations that this wonderful couple laid 35 years ago.
To this day the club goes from strength to strength. This post could go on and on and still not do begin to scratch the surface on how we all feel about the pair of them.
